Giving back to others is incredibly important to Kim and Dave. They feel that they are incredibly fortunate in life and have taken that and matched it with hard work and discipline to achieve even greater things. When starting their co-hosting business, they wanted to donate a portion of their revenue to charity from the very first dollar earned.
Back in 2011, Kim worked at a marketing firm that partnered with the Family Reach foundation to create a video telling the story of Madison and Shauna, a mother-daughter duo facing the uphill battle of a leukemia diagnosis when Madison was only 18 months old (you can read more about their story here). Family Reach provides financial support for families with children in cancer treatment to help them cover their non-medical bills, including transportation, housing, utilities and food, while they focus on their child’s treatment. Kim was very touched by this organization and working on this video project over a decade ago had a lasting impression on her, especially now that she is a mom herself of 2 young children. She now serves as a volunteer on their Young Professionals Group at Family Reach as of October 2022.
Kim and Dave are incredibly happy to say that the Family Reach Foundation is the first charity they are sponsoring donations to from their co-hosting business.
